CUDA 1.1 Beta

This beta of CUDA 1.1 includes several new features:

  • CUDA integrated into display driver (169.09 and above on Windows, 169.01 and above on Linux)
  • Asynchronous API for memory copies and kernel launches
  • Event API for querying status of CUDA calls
  • Additional intrinsics
  • Support for GeForce 8800 GT

Please share your feedback on our CUDA Developer Forums.

Please make sure to install the new driver, toolkit, and SDK.

For the beta release, any old CUDA toolkit installations must be manually removed/uninstalled prior to installing the beta toolkit.  If you installed an older CUDA toolkit in the default location (/usr/local/cuda), you can remove this installation with the following command (as the root user): rm -rf /usr/local/cuda
